Battle Mech

I love doing hard surface work and I have been wanting to make a big battle mech like this for a long time. It was a time consuming model but I am proud of the end result. This piece was partially inspired by the AT-TE walker from Star Wars and I sought to fix what I perceived as a design issue with the walker that the large gun on top of the walker would likely knock the AT-TE off balance when firing. Therefore, for my design I placed the large gun on the front of the vehicle.
I wanted this design to be a futuristic all terrain vehicle that has seen a quite few battles and harsh weather scarred with the damage of previous conflicts. I added lots of small details that can be best seen in the embedded Sketchfab 3D View.
